Internship Opportunities (2008):

This is a summary of all undergraduate research programs that come to our attention. It is by no means a complete list, and in some cases we may know little about the programs.

UCSD Environment & Sustainability Initiative

ESI is offering scholarship money for students to attend the UC/CSU/CCC Sustainability Conference at Cal Poly San Louis Obispo this July. http://sustainability.calpoly.edu/. Graduating students are not eligible for scholarship money from ESI. A brief application form will be required. Please have interested students contact me via email by 5pm Thursday May 29th.

Elementary Institute of Science (EIS)

Seeks interns to serve as mentors to participants in the "Commission on Science That Matters". The commission is a science program for dedicated local high school students who take on specific topics of greater concern. This year, the participants will investigate the issue of water in San Diego.
