This station is the farthest south that we'll reach on this leg, 61 S. Today (2/7/2006) there was lots of shuffling at console to ensure that we all got to see bits of the sunrise. Yvonne or I would do one bottle stop and then switch so that the other could run to the aft deck to check out the sunrise. On the left is the CTD console where I spend many hours. To the right of the computer is the squawk box that talks to the bridge, winch, and deck. I plan out the bottle stops on the form and fill it out on the way up. The porthole gives me a nice view of sky. Occasionally waves splash it.
