A walk down the hill:
a gift of pictures for my mother
I know how much you love flowers, and how long the winter is dragging on this year, so I thought I'd take you on a walk with me, thanks to the wonders of the age of digital photography!

Bud vase on the table

The rosemary is no longer blooming

But this bush is!

Reminds me of fireworks

Hibiscus?

The entire plant

These guys haven't woken up yet

A subtle flower

Nasturtiums flooding the parking lot

A flower-lined garbage bin?

Not flowers (duh)

My favorite: a messy Eucalyptus patch

The View. Rather hazy today. Big waves.

Another View.

Zoomed in for Vanessa

A look back up the hill

The odd sink hole with coconuts

The flower-covered hillside

dotted with nasturtiums

A peaceful mourning dove

What appears to be a Eucalyptus bloom?!

Fun little flutes

Or are they trumpets?

Even the suculent ice plant is in bloom

The path I walk

Getting closer to the nasturtiums

... and closer ...

Wow.

I know you love birds of paradise

So here you go!

Neo-natal, healthy adult, and dead bird

Big bulb of flowers. What are they?

My head, for size

Some lovely flowering pokey thing
