An emergency stop at the Falkland Islands during the research cruise DIMES UK3 gave the crew an opportunity to explore the island for a few days. These photos were taken at Volunteer Point, home of the biggest colony of King Penguins in the islands. Gentoo and Magellanic penguins are also common in the area.
